With the football World Cup only a few momths
away,host country Germany is organising itself so
that everything goes like clock work.
As we have already reported, DB , which is an official
sponsor, has hired some OEBB Class 1116 electric locos to
haul extra trains. Otherwise,it has now been announced
that most Class 605 ICE TD 4-car Tilting DMUs will be used to
move football teams and associated staff around the country.
In addition, all 214 ICE sets are to carry special
branding for the World Cup,the first unit with the
World Cup logo vinyls applied was unveiled in January .
Inaddition DB has announced it will run around
250 additional IC and ICE services to serve the
12 World Cup venue cities, it is expected that
43% of all people attending the games will use rail to
get to the matches.

小弟是 Desiro 車迷，也喜歡看足球賽，但就對這列彩繪車提不起興趣來，整體看來總覺得令人眼花（純粹個人喜好問題）。
更可惜的是新塗裝好像都沒出 Loksound micro 音效版（有人要我買來幫小紅換殼，真是太高估小弟的財力了）。
