In 1929 Canadian National took delivery from Canadian Locomotive
Company of a pair of 2-D-1 1330-h.p. unite for passenger service.
The prume movers were Beardmore 12 X 12 12-cylinder engines
imported Westinghouse.
The two unite were delivered numbered 9000;..........in 1929......by one of CN s4-8-4 s.
