Train engineers,conductors,and station-masters in Indian regions
Delhi,Hayana,Punjab,and Jammu an Kashmir will in future communicate
with one another via mobile telephony. Indian Railway is migratingt
its rail communication to GSM-Railway to increase rail traffic safety,security,and reliability.
Indian Railway has awarded two additional
contracts to Siemens Communications Group to equip 2200 kilometers
of the rail network with GSM-R technology.
